Spaghetti with bacon and butter beans

Ingredients

300 g spaghetti
125 g back bacon - chopped
2 onions - finely chopped
2 cloves garlic - crushed
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can butter beans - drained
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 rounds feta cheese

Method

Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions.

Meanwhile fry the bacon, onions and garlic until soft and cooked through.

Add the tomatoes and drained butter beans and simmer until fragrant. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Spoon the cooked pasta into bowls, mix with the bacon mixture and crumble the feta cheese on top.

Season with extra black pepper and serve with a side salad.
