Student charged for stealing electronics

A third year Applied Biology student at Meru Technical Institute was recently arraigned in a Meru court charged with robbery of computer accessories belonging to the institution.

21 year old Eric Mugambi was arrested at the weekend for stealing three CPUs, 1Monitor, 1keyboard and a computer stand from the institute's computer lab.

Confirming the incident North Imenti District police Boss James Kithuka said police have recovered some of the stolen items from the college compound.

Speaking to the media, Kithuka warned students against stealing and urged them to concentrate on learning to build their future lives positively other than destroying it at productive stage.
