Fresh rift in G7

2012-06-04 07:33
Nairobi - The move by Deputy Prime Ministers Uhuru Kenyatta, Musalia Mudavadi and Eldoret North MP William Ruto — each with his own political party — to join forces to defeat their main rival, Prime Minister Raila Odinga has not gone down well in G7.

It appears to have annoyed Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa, who has threatened to quit the alliance if Mudavadi was being brought on board with the single aim of defeating Raila, Daily Nation reports.

Speaking at his former school in Oyugis, Wamalwa said he was saddened and cannot allow himself to be part of an alliance whose sole aim is to demonise an individual or a community.
