Two major Apple unveilings will occur before the end of the year, according a report from All Things Digital.
First, iPhone aficionado’s will be treated with the release of the latest iPhone on 12 September. Then, as if that isn’t exciting enough, the tech giant plans to unveil the smaller iPad a month later in October.
“That device, which is expected to have a display of less than eight inches (20 centimeters), will be uncrated at a second special event, which sources say is currently scheduled for October,” reported the website.
It’s no secret that the 10-inch iPad has long dominated the tablet market, but has been facing growing challenges from smaller models like Amazon's Kindle Fire, the Google Nexus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy.
Perhaps the new, smaller iPad will crush the competition once and for all? What do you think?
