The City of Cape Town promises to make the upcoming school holidays a time of fun and activity with the return of their holiday programme, featuring a range of activities.
Though the City of Cape Town previously had to end their holiday programme in light of the national lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions, the holiday programme is back with health and safety measures put in place to protect all patrons.

Crafts, games and more!
To minimise risk, the parents would have to sign their children up for activities at their chosen library, as there will be a limited number of spaces available.
The library activities will include sensory play for very young children, a holiday craft programme that includes a DIY kit, movies, informative talks, storytelling and games sessions.
"Our holiday programmes, as well as the play and activities at home, do more than just keep children busy. It allows them to use their creativity while at the same time developing their imagination and dexterity, and they learn and interact with the world around them. If they're not able to take part in an activity, visit the library to check out a new book or movie and go on an adventure," added City's Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Health, Councillor Patricia van der Ross.
Attendants are reminded to wear their masks and continuously sanitise their hands as Covid-19 hygiene protocols remain in place.
