Actor Jacob Elordi is currently being investigated by Australian police for allegedly assaulting a radio producer, according to Daily Beast.
Joshua Fox, an Australian producer who works on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, accused Elordi of physically attacking him on Saturday. Fox shared during the programme on Monday that he approached Elordi, filmed him for a prank to use on the show and joked about his latest film, Saltburn.
Fox asked Elordi if he could give him some of his bathwater so that Fox could gift it to Jackie O for her birthday, according to Variety. He even handed the actor a container marked "Jacob Elordi's bathwater".
Fox was making a reference to a Saltburn scene where Elordi's character, Felix, masturbates in a bathtub and drains the water. Barry Keoghan's character, Oliver, then drinks the remaining bit of water.
Elordi was apparently unimpressed by the joke, asking Fox to stop filming and delete the footage.
Fox told Elordi that he had deleted the footage, but the actor told him to go to recently deleted.
"I'm thinking, if I delete this footage, there's no evidence that this encounter happened, and the way [Jacob and his friends are] already surrounding me, I'm thinking something's going to happen," Fox said on the radio show.
He added:
"One of his boys pulls him off of me, and I walk quickly back towards the venue," Fox continued.
The New South Wales Police, who are based in Australia, said in a statement that they were investigating the incident.
"Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating (the incident) after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs," the police said in a statement.
"Police were told [at] about 15:30 on Saturday, 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing," they added.
