Lupita Nyong'o surprises artist in Zanzibar after viral social media invite

Lupita Nyong'o saw an invitation to Zanzibar, and she took it.

The Black Panther actor travelled to Zanzibar to surprise musician and artist Jamal after a video posted to social media went viral.

In the clip, Jamal and a group of his friends show off a portrait of Nyong'o before jumping off a pier into the ocean.

In the caption, Jamal wrote: "Please help me to tag @lupitanyongo until she see this [sic]."

And well, it worked!

Nyong'o shared a video on Instagram on Sunday in which she surprises Jamal and his friends before joining them for a swim
