Jesse Clegg - Called To Hear Your Voice

South African singer-songwriter Jesse Clegg recently dropped a music video for his single Called To Hear Your Voice.

The video was shot in Johannesburg and Cape Town and shows Clegg wandering the streets alone.

On the making of the video, he said in a statement:

"In one sense, there's a sadness that arises from missing someone, but it's also a blessing to have those special people in life that we are so connected to and miss them when we aren't with them. The video tries to convey that longing but also the joy of finally reconnecting."

"I wrote the song in LA and was feeling homesick and missing my family. To be back home and sing it for the music video was a nice full-circle moment."

The son of the iconic SA artist Johnny Clegg has been awarded for his music, having won a South African Music Award for Best Pop Album.

He has previously released popular songs like Let It Burn, Speed Of Light, Waiting on the Outcome, Today, and Use Me.

He has also released several studio albums, including Life on Mars (2011), Jesse Clegg Live & Unplugged (2012), and Things Unseen (2016).
