Chery has become a very popular car brand in South Africa, selling more than 1 000 units monthly. Now a new model, unveiled at the 2024 Auto China show, is en route to local shores.
The 2024 Beijing auto show continues the theme seen at last year's Shanghai Auto Show when we were in attendance, and electric vehicles were taking centre stage.
Many manufacturers include more PHEVs (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles) in their line-ups, emphasising better range, fewer emissions, more tech and more fun, engaging driving. Chery took this opportunity to launch the latest edition of its SUV range of vehicles with its flagship model, the Tiggo 9 PHEV.
