AI is everywhere. It started decades ago, with the spellchecker tidying up your MS Word homework and email. Now it's creating deep fakes, improving your DIY coding work and shaping better PowerPoint presentations. 

As computing power increases, generative AI promises to solve many issues. It can do laborious and repetitive tasks better than humans, freeing them to do more creative work. But what happens when AI becomes dominant in the areas where human creativity is supposed to reign? That question will define car design in the years to come.
