You know how everyone has been telling women to shoot their shot, but not every woman is brave enough? Some need the help of their friends to finally connect with the person they like in the room. This local couple who met in varsity shared a similar story and relayed their journey to walking down the aisle.

Meet 29-year-old bride and groom Manthedi and Paul Masimong, who met in 2015 while varsity students in the Vaal. Manthedi, at the time, was studying IT at VUT, and Paul was a student at Unisa studying Informatics.

They met on a night out with friends when Manthedi's friend told her to look at Paul's friend, who she was interested in, and that's when Manthedi set her eyes on Paul.
