Queen Charlotte - A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has struck British Columbia's north coast.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries from the quake, which occurred at roughly 07:00 on Friday about 167km southeast of the village of Queen Charlotte.
The National Tsunami Warning Centre said a tsunami is not expected to result.
The US Geological Survey said the quake struck about 10km underground. It was felt in the archipelago of Haida Gwaii and along the north coast.
