We speak to MSF epidemiologist, Gem Patten, about her work in an Ebola affected community in Sierra Leone.
Patten says children are more likely to survive the deadly disease. When it comes to treatment, the main treatment is re-hydration, and medication to stop symptoms like diarrhea and vomiting.
Patten adds that the population of Sierra Leone already has a low life expectancy. She says "Sierra Leone, before Ebola had huge health system problems." Watch.
