WATCH: Frightening moment elephant charges safari truck in Zimbabwe

Dramatic footage has been captured showing the moment a large elephant charged a safari truck in Hwange, Zimbabwe.

The footage was uploaded to Vimeo on Tuesday by one of the visitors to Zimbabwe's national park last month.

The elephant turned the truck 180 degrees and pierced the vehicles tyre.

Kid_GoPro uploaded the footage and added that the elephant broke through the metal "like butter" and narrowly missed one of the passengers legs.

He added: "No-one was harmed but the Safari Truck sure took a beating".
