Kamini Pather shares insight super foods from her world travels.
In studio with Jennifer Sanasie, Kamini reveals how local communities are now suffering from price inflation on their staple foods.
The price increase is due to local produce like tamarind and quinoa gaining international recognition as super foods and as a result the international demand for such produce has risen, causing the price to go up. Kamini tells us how she has seen this affect small communities.
Kamini is the host of Girl Eats World, a brand new show that follows her on a food journey across nine countries. This show will be airing in South Africa this year, the release date has not yet been confirmed.
