Jean-Pierre (JP), a 12 year old rugby enthusiast fighting Hodgkin’s lymphoma, was identified as a young hero by DHL and the Reach For A Dream Foundation; he'll now deliver the official Match Ball at an upcoming Rugby World Cup game.
After receiving confirmation from JP’s doctors that he is fit to travel, JP and his parents, Hanna and Kobus Meyer, were surprised at the Netcare Universitas Private Hospital in Bloemfontein where JP is currently receiving his chemotherapy by Springbok rugby player Willie Le Roux who gave JP the news.
