Newspapers focus on the ANC ahead of their National General Council (NGC) which starts on Friday and will take place in Midrand, Gauteng.

The NGC is the ruling party's mid-term review, which comes a little more than two years after its Mangaung elective conference.

Also in today's newspapers, the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed an appeal from South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) chief operating officer Hlaudi Motsoeneng. The decision affirms the findings by Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.
