"We are not going to the State of the Nation in any jovial mood," says Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane. He says, "South Africa is in a crisis." Unlike SONA 2015 the opposition party will not be adopting a formal, blanket dress code. In 2015 they all wore black and staged a walkout over security measures at the National Assembly during President Jacob Zuma's speech.
