Pretoria – The ANC's National Executive Committee is set to get underway in Pretoria on Friday, which could be seen to be a turning point for the ruling party.
It’s been a turbulent time for the ANC as allegations that the politically connected Gupta family, said to be close to President Jacob Zuma, were making Cabinet jobs offers to party members.
Several ANC sources have told News24 that they are still standing firm behind the the president.
The party was expected to would show a united front for Zuma, with some saying he would emerge even stronger from the NEC meeting.
