Thanks to Eskom and the battery power on my laptop, I have some time to observe my belly button and think. This is not a good thing at all. You see when I think and do nothing, Satan comes over and tempts me, (this is a joke, Satan is not real) and then I need to find a way to stir or something.
This article is not a troll, nor is it a POE because I am crazy enough to believe everything I have to say right here. I was considering doing a Jesus is a false prophet for MQ Moyo to read, but factually he wouldn't understand it. Matthews 15:28 is all the evidence you need for this statement but there are other verses to corroborate it.
I thought instead I would focus on what a True Christian is, This seems to be a subject that Moyo wants people to read about, I will admit, I didn't bother to read his missive, I may even add one or two titbits that he added.
First of all a true Christian follows the Christ, There are 40 000 different groups that claim to meet this criteria. From Anglicans and Catholics to Pentecostals and those nice people in that church in Westboro. If anyone proclaims himself a Christian he qualifies as true Christian in his own little world.
But here is the thing most Christians will be joining us in Hell, they will be there side by side with suicide bombers, Satanists and atheists (not really because hell doesn't exist) A true Christian follows Jesus, and his teachings are the primary directive for Christians. Most Christians are Paulians rather than Christians, because they give the teachings of Paul higher standing than those of Christ.
Every time a Christian tells you that the Old Testament is not applicable to Christians because they live under grace, They are ignoring the teachings of Christ, because Christ said not one jot or tittle of the shall change till he comes back.
Our reading today is from Matthew 5 starting at verse 17 to verse 19.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus says he has not come to destroy the law but to fulfill the law. In English this means, nothing changes. The law of Moses is still applicable to every Christian. The ten commandments, All the malarkey about not eating prawns and bacon is still absolutely Valid, Jesus said this.
When will this change? Jesus said When heaven and Earth pass away, so only in the end times, not before or after, not when the Temple was knocked down, not when the Temple is resurrected but when all ends. Not one jot or tittle of the law shall fall away until the very end of time.
He carries on and warns his preachers not to teach men that they may break the commandments, because they will be the least in the kingdom of heaven. Paul is in deep trouble because Jesus told him right then that he was going to be the least in heaven.
Are you following the teachings of Christ or the teachings of Paul? Only if you are following the teachings of Christ can you call yourself a Christian, That bacon and eggs you had on Sunday befor listening to the Paulian Pastor in church has ensured you journey to the netherworld.
