Christians & Non-Christians

The word of God is clear: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."--John 14:6. Only through Christ can man attain salvation, with this there is no compromise. With such the book of Acts demonstrate in support when it says:"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."--Acts 4:12. But what about people in the lands where the gospel have not reached? or the people who died without having the knowledge of the saving truths? what will become of them in future? or say Christians who have various truths but not many as others?

Unlike Christians and others who knew the light of the law of God but did it not; those who knew not the light of it thereof will not be condemned because of the lack of knowledge. Notice what the Apostle says: "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law."--Romans 2:12. Again to us who know of it but become disobedient children this is what we told: "So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."--James 2:12. So much with the futile exercise of the view that the law of God is no longer binding. Then how can we be judged by something that has been done away at the cross?

Also Christ has revealed the fact that God will judge us according to the light that we have received. For having the truth of the word of God shinning upon our path, we are accountable to God of how we respond to it: "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."--John 3:19. Then to them who have lived in disobedience to God in the past, but the truth have come home into the heart then such are words of vital impact: "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent."--Acts 17:30

Now we ask, what about the punishment of those who neglected or rejected the word of God's truth, with those who knew not? We need not be perplexed but let scripture explain itself: "But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."--Luke 12:28. The greater the light, the greater the punishment of they who reject it, while the lesser the light , the lesser of the same punishment of those who did it not. Here we see the goodness and fairness of the dealings and justice of God towards the fallen human race. Indeed this is love, and may God help me and you that we get more truths revealed of his word in our lives and live according to it.
