On 14 Jun 2014 we were attacked by 5 armed men. We phoned 112 from our cell. It just rang.
When an operator eventually answered she did not know where Skeerpoort is. She suggested Steelpoort in Eastern Cape.
She was in Gauteng and we were just across the prov line in NW Prov.
We explained we were located between Brits, Hekpoort and Hartebeespokrt/Schoemansville.
She still did not know where this was. Then she suggested we phone Brits police and gave us a number.
That number just rang. Eventually we phoned a neighbour who had the number of the police in Schoemansville. So after 40 min we got a response.
4 phones were used to make multiple calls. Total waste to phone 112.
