"Desperate Alliance" has turned Parliament into a circus

Gone are those days when Parliament used to be a place where democratically elected leaders were elected to draft and pass legislation to the needs of society. Now it has turned into a circus where clowns (EFF) and audience (DA) are making a mockery of this once respected house.
What transpired at the Mbete debate must have uTata Nelson Mandela turning in his grave. I was embarrassed to be South African. Grown men and women who only have one job, which is to discuss and debate matters concerning our well-being, are now using that platform to attack each other and settle scores.
The motion that was raised to unseat Mbete is a clear indication of the opposition party trying to undermine the ANC. 62% of South African men and women have placed their trust on the ANC to deliver and these small bitter parties must learn to accept that. They cannot dictate what the ANC should or should not do. Who they should or should not deploy. They must do what is expected of them, which is to take a seat and keep quiet while the ruling party leads them. Like the Honourable Sizani said, "Speak when you are spoken to".
All these motions raised by the opposition are diverting us from the real issue that must be debated in Parliament. How do we bridge the gap between Black and White people in South Africa. How do we educate and emancipate our Black South Africans. That is what should be debated and not silly things like who should be the speaker. This is a clear indication by the DA and EFF that they have no respect or faith in women. This motion borders on belligerence by the opposition parties. Where do they get the nerve to dictate who the ruling party should elect?
EFF presented a manifesto of Nationalization and expropriation of land. Till this day not a single document of how research showing it should work has been presented. All they do is talk which further holds back the ruling party from doing its job. All at the expense of the taxpayer who is paying their salaries.
The only winners by this constant bickering is the racist parties. DA, FF and all the other white parties in Parliament. They are winner because while we are arguing about silly issues, we are ignoring the big issues. How do we address the injustices of the past? How do we educate more Black people? How do we emancipate our people? How do we fight corruption? How do we take the country forward? These are the real issues that must be debated.
The puppet Maimane raises these menial issues and goes home to his white wife while the rich and poor gap widens everyday. He is not affected. Seeing the EFF join in this was like seeing KFC and Chickens unite. The EFF sold out everything they presented to their million Black voters the minute they merged with racist white and greedy capitalists.
To all the leaders in Parliament, put your egos aside and do what we pay you for.
