Disruptions, Burning Criminal

Whiles more than 70% of young South Africans learners who set for Matric celebrated and looked forward to the life beyond matric ,other are still licking wounds after a rigorous year which saw many being unable to go to School because of various forms of disruptions including amongst others service delivery protests.

We have seen number of protests which have culminated in total shutdown of numbers of Schools and thereby depreving young people their right to education , last around September many Schools in Kuruman were closed were the community was protesting about the building of a Road in that area , legitimate or not the fact that those young fellows missed lost of lessons show to the extent which protesters have no conscience and disregard to the future of this this young people , Children in this area paid a hefty price because of the NO Road, No School Campaign. The Portfolio Committee on Education condemned what happened as something that must nver be tolerated in the new South Africa , and calling all and sundry to make sure that this does not happen again

Whiles South Africans were still healing the wounds of last year protests which might have led to the decline in the performance in matric results , and hoping that Schools will start in 2015 without hindrance and disturbance , The Malamulele Community Could not wait for a better time to Start their bid to have their own Municipality than to wait for the reopening of the Schools , Some of them goes to an extent of comparing their quest to have their own municipality to the liberation of our people, which i found it to be very barbaric and disturbing to the latter , this did show that there is still particular section of our society which still think fighting for the liberation of the African people as an simple looting jamboree exercise like what they are doing

whiles we are still thinking of ways and means on how to make Young South African's right to be respected , its important that all good thinking individuals in communities should say that Enough is Enough this needs to come to the end , we cant leave in an environment within which people can just disrupt Schools and nothing happens , its high time we criminalise the disruptions of Schools and Burning of libraries.
