God is tangible

Slash  your comment in the article "The basis of belief " that states "They(Believers) cannot look at the world,the galaxy and the universe and admire it's complex beauty with a clear and open mind "is completely untrue.We,in fact, know the universe has a maker.I am writing this to let every atheist know what happened to me when I was deeply concerned about my mother.I was mentally exhausted and one Saturday afternoon and went to sleep.When I woke up I was immobilised.There was an awesome presence in the room.I can only describe it as a light in the shape of a rainbow and I had a vision of Jesus.He cupped his hand in mine and I knew then that he could transport me into heaven.My earthly body would be just a shell.This experiance probably lasted a few seconds but I knew my mother would be okay.My husband and sons were watching rugby and I was back to reality and even though they are all believers I would not have shared this experiance with them because I was sure they would think I was crazy.I even began to ask myself "Surely I was just dreaming" On Sunday evening a friend called to ask me how my mom was doing and I said to her "well yesterday afternoon I had a sleep and when I woke up I was immobilised " Before I could relate the experiance she said "And you had a vision" So there you are God confirming my disbelief,doubt--Old doubting Thomas.Many christians have experiances they would never share with atheists or christians because they sound unreal.This is an  experiance I have shared with hardly anybody unless I was led by the Holy Spirit to do so.In all cases the person concerned wept because they knew The Lord was with them in their need.This happened about 15 years ago and it is the first time I have shared it publically . I am moved to do so,for what reason,I do not know, but some christians will even question it,others will not because they will know what I meanBelieve me you can admire the universe but without a God in it,it is meaningless
