IEC chair appointed

The Appointment of the Chairperson to the Independent Electoral Commission.

It is within the mandate of the Honourable State President, Dr. J Zuma, to appoint someone to the vacancy within the Independent Electoral Commission, that became vacant after Pansy Mathebula, was caught with her “fingers in the till” and finally after having been suspended for months with pay “nog-al” that she finally was removed from her position, but as is customary within the ANC it was never expected of her to “pay back the money” that she unduly, in an unorthodox manner financially benefited from the entire saga and which she mismanagement and gained financially from her relationship with the owner of the building. Quid pro quo. ,douceur  and ex gratia payments  being the order of the day.

Now yet once again the appointment of the replacement to her is on the table, and our dear President, is of the opinion that Vuma Glenton Mashinini being the most suitable candidate to replace the previous chairperson.

That Zuma is yet once again busy to ‘high-jack- state institutions’, with the appointment of those that make him ‘the flavour of the day’ is evident and with the Municipal Elections of 2016 approaching Zuma need to make sure that the ‘right people are in the right places’.

Even the changing of Municipal Boundaries are on the table, the Demarcation Board is in full swing, and all of these macabre situations with one goal, to not loose support in 2016 at Municipal level, but to retain control by ‘hook or by crook’, and in this instance more by ‘crook’

The appointment of Vuma Glenton Mashinini would be gross conflict of interest and all of these steps that Zuma is following in appointing people to positions of power in government institutions, being to manipulate the Municipal elections come 2016 in favour of the ANC.

The corruption continues in all its glory, and that is more evident each and every day.
