If religion is anti gay, anti lesbian, anti democratic, anti secular government then PLEASE stay in the middle east. We don't need the barbaric Sharia law etc Is it not true that your prophet had a intimate(sexual) relationship with a child? Who in their right mind would worship a prophet like that!
Muslims abroad get to do what they like, when they like and how they like, but heaven forbid a person who is not a Muslim says something about them. Newsflash, there are other religions besides Islam, people have different points of view to Muslims. People are entitled to criticize Islam, Christianity, Judaism etc You live in a democratic country with a something called freedom of speech. People insult Christianity all the time but you don't see them going on a rioting rampage through cities using violence and intimidation. Makes you people look like fools who cant face the 'heat'. If you can't handle criticism then please leave' and go back to the 7th century stone age laws in the middle east. You will not force your archaic views on the rest of the planet. Muslims are only peaceful when they are a minority in a country but if they were a majority then Sharia law would be in place and women would have minimal rights and freedom of speech would be nonexistent. This means that the Western politicians and liberal journalists, who continually spout that Islam is a noble religion of peace, are in reality propagating a deception that they have been deceived into parroting.The impression is that the entire Quran promotes peace, love, equality and tolerance for all. That is far from the truth. Most Muslims fully understand that the few Quranic verses that seemingly promote equality, peace and justice are more often than not overridden/ nullified by later verses that validate such things as terrorism and legalistic restrictions on routine human and women’s rights. You must remember that the Koran has never undergone any changes unlike the Bible and other religions. It is claimed to be the word of god and can never be changed that is why the followers and preachers of Islam still have archaic 7th century views. I just wish the media and the PC liberals would see the truth in Islam, it's a false totalitarian ideology. I always ask this question to the PC people; Go and live in a Muslim country where the government uses Islamic(Sharia law) and let me know how it went? Islam has a strong ideological dimension - it seeks to control all aspects of life, from politics to how you have sex with your wife. It is at its core anti-democratic, anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-infidel, anti anything you hold dear as a western person. Radical Muslim followers will find other motives to justify their aggression. Meanwhile they will just continue killing worshippers and burning places of worship of other religions all over the world(in Islamic dominated countries like Egypt,Pakistan,Bangladesh..) while pretending to be hurt and insulted.These people shouldn't have an ounce of credit with anyone.
They burn worshippers together with bibles and churches and nobody complains but if someone spills some coffee over their beloved Koran, the security council has to hold a session. One can only wonder how long this madness will continue and when the free people will come to their senses. Muslims are so easy to manipulate due to their religious indoctrination. What amazes me is they have no problem with violence and murder, but an insult to someones faith is the ultimate sin. They would quite happily kill a person but never commit blasphemy. Talk about a dark ages religion. The Koran and it's scriptures, the very text is a classic example of hate speech personified, not to mention it's endorsement of violence in the name of GOD, which Muslims take literally. Islam (not Muslim's) deserves the utter condemnation of: every rational, intelligent, compassionate human being, anyone who values democracy, science, ethical behavior, the progress of humanity, women, world peace, free speech, human life, happiness, education, economic prosperity, and freedom of belief. The intelligent people of the world must try to reason with Muslim's to get them to renounce the barbarism and idiocy that is being preached by radical Islamcists. A lot of Muslims whereever they go are completely disinclined toward integration, they see themselves never as true nationals of the country where they have moved, even several generations on. The true allegiance always lies to other Muslim's not to society as a whole. They generally are closed minded and bring their own petty prejudices. Islam is not a religion of peace. By its nature Islam is radical, it has no shades.
Any religion that cannot withstand the test of criticism has less a reason to exist than any criticism it may receive. It's all about rational thinking. Perhaps the UN should focus the discussions on outlawing religious violence rather than outlawing "blasphemy" or other forms of critical speech. This is very disturbing that an international body would be so quick to cave in to intolerance and stupidity. Most people are simply unaware that Islam is NOT just another religion but a totalitarian political cult-like ideology, which compels its followers into blind obedience, teaches intolerance, brutality and locks all Muslims and non-Muslims in a struggle deriving directly from the 7th century nomadic, predatory, Bedouin culture. People need to learn to free their minds and learn to think for themselves and question authority.
Just look at what happened in Bangladesh where Muslims burnt Buddhist temples and went on another violent rampage through cities because someone allegedly insulted/mocked there religion. Yet, they claim it's the "Religion of Peace" more like the religion of permanent offence! Why aren't the moderate Muslims condemning violence and protesting against this violent rampage around the world and many other acts of violence & intolerance. The moderate Muslims silence is deafening! Name me one country in the world which is dominated by Muslim's that shows respect for other peoples differences? Violence is a sign of weak faith! You life will be at risk. There have been numerous times that people who openly criticize it receive death threats. Again, other religions are criticized on a daily basis and I'm yet to hear about a person being marked for death because of it. A well known case, are the founders of South Park who use Jesus and many other characters in their cartoon series. About 2 years ago they used the prophet of Islam for some reason and they received death threats. It would be wise for the South African government to keep in touch with the reality of radical Islam!
