Impeach President Zuma

No Education

It's been alleged that Jacob Zuma has lied about his education. Where he claimed to have received an informal education from a lady with a Standard 4 (Grade 6) qualification, new evidence allegedly proves that she only passed Standard 3 (Grade 5).

Even if he hasn't lied about this, I still don't think that a man who never even entered high school has any business running a country!

For once I agree with Juju who stormed out of parliament saying "Zuma must go. This in unacceptable. We can't have a president with a dismal education background.".

Unwavering

Zuma said that "You don't need leadership skills to be president, you just need to be present.". I take that to mean that he's aware he doesn't have leadership skills and surely isn't qualified for the job, but simply doesn't care. Not surprised honestly as I don't think he ever had any interest in whether or not his appointment would be in the benefit of the country.
He also went on record to say "I've had plenty of experience hovering around presidents before I became president. That's how I knew I was the right man for the job."
So by that logic, I can spend a couple of years hovering around a surgeon and then I can pick up a scalpel and perform heart transplants, right?

Corruption

He also said that "corruption comes part and parcel with the position. If you haven't been corrupt before you became president, they will throw you to the lions."
I'm not sure I understand his meaning, but it sounds like he's saying that people will just lay corruption charges on anyone who has the word "President" in front of his/her name simply because they hold a position of power...I don't understand how Zuma can talk about what would happen when you become president if you haven't been corrupt before your appointment as such as most of the corruption charges that have been filed against him are for incidents of corruption that occurred before he was voted into office.

Double Standards

There was also a fellow by the name of Hlaudi Motsoeneng who is a staunch Zuma supporter who said "a matric is not everything. What you need is experience."
Not sure what world this chap is living in, but in my world, nobody gives a damn about you until you can show them a matric certificate. Sure it doesn't mean everything that it used to, but a solid 99% of job postings out there require at least a matric certification before you can even be considered for the job.
If what this person says is true, then I take myself as an example: I have no matric certificate, but I have verifiable years of experience as a software developer with references on request... According to whoever this is, can I just walk into a place, tell them I have 10 years of software development experience and start working right away?Well sure, maybe... If I wanted to be arrested for trespassing and possibly charged with vandalism as well...

Conclusion

Okay so, while my rant about a matric certificate had very little to do with the call to impeach president Zuma, I'd like to quote one more person. This is ANC presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj who said "There is no reason to investigate president Zuma [because] the fact that Zuma is not qualified for the job is already public knowledge."
While I'm sure corruption charges that can actually stick can help in terms of impeachment, I think its ultimately unnecessary. Mr Maharaj's admission that Zuma is unqualified for his job and that this is public knowledge should be enough.
You don't go to a guy on the street who only completed 6 months of medical school and ask him to diagnose an illness you have, do you?You don't get into a plane and hear the pilot say "well folks, we're up in the air now, unfortunately, I never learned how to land and the guy who usually flies with me who knows how to do it is on sick leave today..."
Why do we expect the best from professionals in all areas of our normal day-to-day, but accept what clearly is nowhere near sufficient from our President?
I call to parliament to impeach this uneducated, deceiving thief and replace him with a man who knows how to run a country for it's betterment.
