That sounds like a really wonderful idea. Even though the Xhosas were never traditionally in the Western Cape, the reality is that many of them are now and will forever be an integral part of it.
I think being able to hold it on the mountain will be really special as part of the ritual, and could be developed for tourism, in the times when these ceremonies are not being held, where the experts in that field could have tours and explain the process to tourists. This would bring in much needed income with which to make sure all the ceremonies can be made safer.
I am sure many people will have the opinion, take your foreign customs back to a) the stone age, or b) where you come from, but all I can say is do you have the balls to do the same?
