Commemorating International Women's Day by honouring Gauteng Women making Difference in our communities; be it in townships, suburbs, villages, informal settlements, workplace, business, media/social media.
A call for nominations of Women founders or leaders of/in organisations that focus on community building and development, they are individuals or organisations that give selflessly to their communities, feeding the hungry or housing the homeless, caring for the disabled and the sick, or caring for orphans or the elderly, foster mothers, those involved in keeping the youth off the streets through education, training, crafts, culture and the arts. These are Gauteng women, aunts and Gogos that change lives for others.
If you know one, nominate her so we can celebrate her!
You may also Nominate an organisations/businesses that build, support and empower their women and communities beyond the call of duty or
. a Woman who leads CSI programmes that contribute positively to the advancement of women,
. a Woman that owns or leads a business that employs majority women
. a woman that leads a businesses that focus on ground breaking socio-economic initiatives . a man that leads or supports programmes or CSI programmes that respond to issues affecting women.
We will also honour and recognise Mothers that have shown extra ordinary dedication, support and commitment to a child that has presented extreme challenges where most mothers would give up. She could be caring for a child with uncommon/extreme disability, or is a drug addict or similar.
If you know her and she resides in Gauteng please nominate her, let's celebrate them!
