Is it a Lemon?

A lemon a day gives you a zest of life, whether you are in your mid-teens, a home executive or an on-the-go type of person be sure to pack in those much needed nutrients and vitamins that your body craves for.

The health benefits that range from lemons aid in elevating the lifestyles of many who battle it out with much of the common ailments and diseases out there.

One tablespoon of ‘real lemon’ (not the concentrate in a bottle) in a glass of water every morning does wonders for an individual. A study in an American Institute of Health sciences had revealed that these power little things can do more than just make lemonade or add flavour to salad dressing, in fact they can be enjoyed as a treat, tonic, detergent and also part of facial masks.

Lemon forms part of the citrus family and is popular for its sour taste and yellow greenish features.  It is proven by the Institute that this citrus fruit can kill cancer cells.  It is 10 000 times stronger than chemotherapy.

Lemon juice is beneficial in preventing this disease.  Its taste is pleasant unlike the distasteful horror effects of chemotherapy.

The lemon tree, known for its varieties of lemons and limes can be eaten in many ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press, prepare wholesome drink tonics, sorbets, pastries and the list goes on.  Lemon is known to be a health benefit in various ways, but the most interesting is the effect it produces on cysts and tumours.  This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all types.

Lemon can be also be used as an anti-bacterial against all bacterial and fungal infections, parasites and worm infections.

Certain hair products endorse lemon in shampoos and conditioners as shows results in getting rid of dandruff and hair odours.  Many beauty products contain lemon extracts that help eliminate marks, scars and blemishes on our skin to a certain extent.

It can be used to regulate high blood pressure and as an antidepressant combatting stress and nervous disorders.

One of the largest drug manufacturers in the world says that after more than 20 laboratory test performed since 1970, the extracts have revealed that: It destroys the malignant cells in 12 cancers, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas.  The therapy of the lemon extract would only destroy malignant cancer cells and would not destroy any other healthy cells.

Freshly squeeze a lemon (about 2 tsp.) into a glass of warm water and drink it after your meals or before bed.  This is a great way of burning fats and healthy dieting.  Lemon can aid in ridding your skin of unpleasant dark marks or uneven skin tone.  Add 1 tsp. of lemon juice to half a glass of water.  Dab on to skin with a piece of cotton wool.
