Legacy of King Solomon connects the past to the present

An intriguing question pondered by some concerns the characteristics and reign of King Solomon, it’s relevance to today and how this impacts and plays out on the world stage.

Can he be an archetype of a leader still to make an appearance?

King Solomon was reputed to be one of the wisest and richest Kings that ever reigned.

He however fell into apostasy and idolatry. He married many foreign wives. He accumulated horses from Egypt and large amounts of gold and silver. He built himself a lavish throne and virtually had himself deified. He was also an interfaith worshipper and allowed false religions to flourish.

With the initiatives of interfaith movements and the Papacy today, the slide toward Ecumenism and a one world religion becomes more apparent.

The book of Kings notes he had seven hundred wives of royal birth, and three hundred concubines.

He followed Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech, the god of the Ammonites. (1 Kings 11: 4-6)

In Revelations (13:18) it states; This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is a man’s number. His number is 666.

In the book of Kings (1 Kings 10: 14) it says; Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred, threescore- 20x3 =60 and six talents of gold.

So the verses in Revelation and Kings should be juxtaposed?

Solomon imposed taxes on merchants and shipping, in addition to receiving funds from the King of Tyrus for the construction of Solomon’s Temple. Also he had complex financial deals and arrangements with a lot of Arab Kings. Maybe that number - 666- is a symbol of a futuristic financial and political system that will replace the current fiat- based one.  Or maybe a tax levy on trading as nobody without the mark of 666- the beast system- “will be able to buy or sell”.

Our current financial system though has a lot of commonalities with the Babylonian one with its emphasis on indebtedness – individually as well at governmental level.

Some claim that the name of Solomon appears as the 666th name in the bible.

The massive amounts of gold required to build Solomon’s Temple was astronomical. Everything was overlaid in gold even its walls.

In addition to Solomon’s great personal wealth he built his vast kingdom using slavery and taxing people to  excess.

Solomon was deeply involved in the occult and its practises. In fact he was central in merging occultism with Judaism.

The Jewish symbol, the six pointed Star of David, was originally known as the Seal of Solomon and has its origins in occultism.

In the book ‘The six pointed Star’ by Dr O J Graham, in the only known academic work on the subject, he traces back the use of this symbol from Egypt to Solomon, when in 922 B.C. Solomon married the daughter of Pharaoh, then to Arab magic and witchcraft, to Druid uses, to Freemasonry, to Mayer Amschel Bauer, who in the seventeenth century changed his name to depict the red pointed star which hung on his door in Germany, and thus began the family of Rothschild (meaning red shield). The family in turn incorporated it into their Coat of Arms. The research traced the six-pointed star through the Kabala- a Jewish form of Occultism-  to astrology, to Hitler- and his yellow-pointed-star forced on Jews to wear as identification during the holocaust, to the Zionist symbol and finally to the flag of the State of Israel.

Graham maintains that the Symbol of the Jews is the Menorah and not the Star of David aka the Seal of Solomon.

M Hirsch Goldberg in his book -The Jewish Connection states: “The Star of David is not of Jewish origin- and the ancient Israelites never used it as their religious symbol but rather the Menorah or Seven Candlestick.

OJ Graham claims that the rituals Solomon learnt from Hiram are present today in the rites of Masonic temples.

Jews today consider Solomon as Israel’s greatest King.

To Muslims he is also a greatly revered major prophet as well as a wise King, who features in the Koran.

More on that to follow in part 2.

It must be appreciated that whoever this end-time leader is, he cannot attain prominence without the backing of the global shadow government, cabal, or any other name one chooses to call them.
