Legal action

Good day,

I want to take legal action against a very big company due to the following and need to know if I have grounds to proceed and if you can put me in contact with a good labor lawyer.

I was requested to see an appointed doctor due to the fact that I was apparently too sick to fulfill my duties as a site manager as I must be on site the whole time during shutdown .I was an average of 1 day off sick every 3 months due to kidney problems.

I took my doctors report with me as requested and after the appointed doctor consulted with me he ask me if I know why I was sent to him and I informed him that my superiors want to get a second opinion and that they want to help me to resolve my problem .

He then said the real reason is that they want him to certify me medically unfit as a site manager and that he cannot do that.

I ask my seniors about this and they denied it

Within a week I was informed by my superiors that I was replaced and that they want me to handle the outside projects.

The person who replaced me was family of one of the persons in the company; there is a family connection of more than 5 from one senior employee.

My appointment as site manager made me decide to buy a house in the closest town due to the duration of the contract and I was very sure that due to my professional approach to my work I would be considered for future projects.

By me identified financial errors where the client was double invoiced with more than 4 million rand that accrued 2 years before I was appointed and ethic issues made me a very unpopular person.

I requested an investigation to one of the more senior people and after meeting secretly with the financial manager I gave him a list of all my grievances and suspicious actions.

I have resigned more than a two year ago due to the climate at work and there was no information regarding the investigation up to this day.

I am financially not in the position to afford a lawyer and need to know what I can do.
