Let Uber thrive, if you can't beat them, join them

Lets be honest here, Uber is a very convenient transportation system, compared to the other transport services we have now and with a growing number on smart phone users, Uber is really the best solution for the transport problem, at this point in time. The best part about Uber is that, its cheaper than most metered taxis and on top of that far more efficient. I once needed a cab to go home from work in Cape Town, I called the metered taxi company well in advance(1pm) to fetch me at 4pm and come 4pm,  I am waiting outside in the rain like an idiot, even 15 minutes later there was no sign of my cab, I called and they claimed the driver was on his way, I got so pissed off that I decided to just get any random cab, 30 minutes later the driver calls me and says he is here, like where the heck were you when I needed you?. To date I haven't had a good story to tell about metered taxis, but I do have plenty to tell about Uber. Uber is efficient, fast and cost effective(except on surge times), so if the other transport providers, just want to fight Uber and not adapt, then sorry for you, but you will be closed down. Its called innovation. As a company you always have to be on your toes, because you can be in today and gone tomorrow. So adapt or die. Join them.
