Miracles

1. Miracles are easy to think about generally, but very hard to think rationally. Because miracles are supernatural, beyond the rules of nature, they are beyond the rules of  reason and logic.
2. There can be no such thing as "evidence of a miracle".
3. Modern folks generally explain miracles in one of three ways:A) Supernaturalism = God's magicB) Rationalism = miracle writers were frauds or suckersC) Myth  = they made it up.
4. Supernaturalism was the standard explanation of miracles up to the 1700s. In the period called the Enlightenment people realized that probably everything in nature has a natural cause. If it can't have happened naturally, it can't have happened. So Supernaturalism is rejected in a world of reality.
5. Rationalism is miracles really happened, but they weren't really miracles. Miracle writers were suckered to claim miracles happened. Miracles are a placebo effect. Miracles made people think they would get better and they did.
6. Myth is the history from which miracles were taken and they did not really happened. Morale writers made it up by stealing from other ancient myths or creating new myths. There is no evidence of supernatural, so all supernatural miracles are made up.
7. Personal testimonies are not evidence of miracles. It is only unfounded claims for miracles.
