Money & life

Money, money, money can't buy happiness?
Think about this. Is this as true as we all try to convince ourselves?

Money, money, money can buy happiness! Think about this again. Where would we be without it?

Why has it come to this? Is it all about Money? Money for flashy lifestyles, houses, cars, things! Where are our minds? I can tell you, our minds are on money, money, money!   Sadly, it seems, money can buy happiness! Where would we be without it? No peace, discontent, unhappy!   Money can’t buy happiness...? Just think about this phrase. Many of us are on a constant search for happiness. We question the purpose of life and wonder why we struggle to find contentment. Our focus in the modern world seems to have shifted from needs to luxuries. Why are we not satisfied with our needs being fulfilled? Is true happiness found in a car or a diamond? Perhaps if we let go of things a little and grabbed a hold of truly living this life we could find some form of contentment. Many of us seem to be looking a gift horse in the mouth!! We are missing out on the truest, purest and most amazing gift we will ever receive on earth, the gift of life. We were all born with this gift. A gift that we should be using to the best of our ability. Materialism must not get the best of us! Surely, we, the human race, are beyond this foolishness. Why, oh why are we missing the point? What on earth is becoming of us?

Everything have changed. The value of life of late is measured against material positions of an individual. Breathing without all the money, cars, etc. is seemingly worthless

Hey, Tracy - a lot of people are missing out on the most rewarding thing that there is, helping others, especially the downtrodden, less fortunate! The happiest a person can be is when you witness the heartfelt smile from a homeless child when you hand him a jersey or take them for a meal, or others in need that have given up on their fellow humans. Giving time to others, especially strangers who live in a state of despair, is the most rewarding thing that I have ever experienced! I am not talking about putting on a show to impress an audience, but simple acts of kindness! If more people could take a break from their own selfish pursuits of wealth or even just keeping up with the Jones's, and recognize the beauty that lies all around us, especially the beauty of an innocent and genuine smile, there would be more happy people around and a far better sense of community! Time is our most precious and valuable commodity, we should try and give it away for free sometimes, the rewards are more valuable than excessive wealth!

There is of course the old retort of "perhaps money cannot buy you happiness, but I would rather be miserable in a Rolls Royce than on a bicycle". Perhaps money cannot buy you happiness, but it can sure stop of hell of a lot of unhappiness.....

Go do yourself a favor, if you want to know the true mission of man, read up on the person who discovered the age of the earth, while you are reading about that man, read what he did and what he finally achieved to improve our lives as people...I will give you a hint...Lead

Someone wise once said: Only poor people say money can't buy happiness.

what I am saying in this article is that it is money that buys happiness... Sadly... We cannot rely on human spirit, fellow consideration and respect anymore. It's money that makes the world go round, not the core of what it is to be human.
