It is so nauseating to see a golfer like Hennie Otto claim some form of divine intervention from his god helped him win a recent golf tournament. Or to see any sports team or sportsmen making similar claims when they win and pocket fat checks for millions of dollars.
Is Hennie Otto such bonehead that he actually believes that his god, taking time off from all the horrors in the world, selected him above the hundred plus other golfers in the field, and cheated on his behalf to help him win: that the other golfers, some of whom probably also worship the same god, were denied similar divine assistance? By making such a statement he is actually denigrating all the other competitors and inferring they are less deserving of his gods special assistance.
One wonders what goes through Otto's head when he loses, as he does more often than not.
During Otto's repugnant 10 minute embarrassing speech and victory celebration, some :
114 children starved to death
23 children were forced into slavery
15 people will committed suicide
13 people were be raped
10 people were be murdered
3 people died in war.
Congratulations Hennie Otto. We are so proud.
