Ode to my wife

Exactly 11 years ago to this day,

I was with a girl who took my breath… and nandos pita away.

I know that day, I would her wed,

Cos she always wanted to be fed.

Pitas, pasta, bunnies…. she devoured them all,

So much that waiters were always at her beck and call.

But with her raucous laughter and infectious personality, I fell in hopelessly love,

And from that moment on I swear I am in heaven above.

And on my wedding day, when I set my eyes on this princess,

I knew that God did indeed me bless.

She is my life… My everything.

Without her I am lost and life is not worth living.
