Open letter to Archibald and Jim Smoke

Dear Archibald and Jim Smoke,

I am writing you this letter, not to ridicule or judge you, but to point you to a statement or two that you made in other articles…

The only person that you can blame for being “under attack” by the atheists and being the “eternal martyr” is yourself and we as theists, in particular Christians, need to clean our house before attempting to help others. The article in reference of course is

I am going to reply first to your remarks individually and then to the “heroes” that you cling to…

The rules scientists set for what they would receive as evidence is the problem. They have so much double standards. They do not accept witness testimonies. They do not accept evidence from sick people that has been healed. They don't even accept the dead being raised.”

I actually think they do, however I think that you have to wonder about their scepticism. I am sure it has validity to it.

My article below regarding the false teaching on satan would explain your view on the devil and his “supposed lack of belief in the miracles… Only people doubt God, not satan… The reason is that the inclination to do evil (yetzer ha ra) was made into an “entity” that no patriarch or OT characters before the Babylonian captivity deemed a reality. You have to ask yourself why that is.

I can see why you would believe this… making William Branham your source to proof it only strengthen the case against you. Later more on that

Father Abraham was right when he said to the rich man who cried from hell that someone should please go back and tell of the torment there that they won't believe. “|

The Bible say that wisdom will be given to those most undeserving and the wise will not have this wisdom- Luke 10

Jesus, like his apostles and the prophets used familiar concepts to explain “truths” within that belief system… the above is to clear the idea that once you reach the point of no return aka death, one won’t be able to change your or any one’s mind regarding what type of person you was whilst you were alive. Death is the final destination. Everyone will see it, everyone will “bend its knee” to it, some will “gash” on their teeth. Jesus said he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one will go to the Father except through Him.

To me the Bible is silent regarding life after death. It does talk about things up and until that point. If you disagree, I urge you to do a write up on it based on the information or experiences from those that experienced it. The Bible says there were dead people that were raised, however none of them listed shared their experiences of those events whilst being dead.

Concerning Kerry. Not everyone who was clinically dead for a while sees the other side. He saw nothing, because he was not shown anything. As simple as that. God had a purpose with those other people. They were to come back to tell their story. He was however given another chance, one it seems he hasn't put to good use.

You are given the impression that God has favorites. I would see God as just. Each will experience an OBE or NDE different, because of his or hers subjective frame of reference. I do not rate the validity of the claim, but its invalidity based on that subjective frame of reference.

I see only that death is referred as the “first death” and that the people are merely sleeping… and while sleeping we do have experiences that we deem as real.

You have to be allowed to return to your body or else you go on forever. We will all have that experience when we die. The experience of the separation of soul from body.

This experience of an OBE is not even biblical, therefore deserves to be ignored.

If you would watch the video I suggested on OBE's and NDE's you would see the story of how Dr. Rawlings was converted. His patient who also tells his story in the video had a heart attack. He went outside of his body and saw hell. As the doctor did resuscitation, he came back.

His wild stares prompted Dr. Rawlings to ask him what happened, on which he replied "I just saw hell. Please help me not to go back." But he was dying and went out again while seeing from above how the doctor was working on him.

Outside his body he cried for them to help him but they couldn't hear him. On a second moment of them bringing him back by resuscitation into his body he ask them to help not to go to hell on which the doctor replied that he was not a preacher.

The doctor then even as an atheist asked him to say the sinners prayer. " Lord Jesus I ask you to be my lord and saviour,... ending with " If I should die keep me out of hell."

God heard that prayer an atheist doctor told another atheist in the heat of the moment to repeat. Again after that he left his body. This time he saw his mother in heaven who had died when he was a mere 5 months old. He also saw his stepmother there who died 10 years ago.

When he came back the final time he was a changed man.”

This view is also non-biblical, believing you could be shown “heaven” and “hell” and tell others.. It even goes against you earlier reference of Abraham and the rich man. The rich man couldn’t return, what makes Mr. Rawlinson so special…?

That he could remember his mother that died when he was 5 month old was because he viewed photographs of her and not because he was in heaven. I see nowhere that we will remember each other in “heaven” in the Bible.

Jesus answered and said;..'This day, you will be with me in paradise'

Jesus said to Pilate;..'My Kingdom, is not of 'THIS' world'

Jesus told the believers;...'I am going to prepare a place for you, if it were not so, I would tell you plainly'

The accounts of eternal life given in the Holy Word of God are overwhelming in their evidence.”

Jim, it merely alludes to something that happens after death, but not what it comprises of

Atheists have nothing to fight with, nothing to defend, and nothing to fight for, except their diminutive opinions that swirl around at the bottom of the pit of ignorance, darkness, and wickedness.

All i see from the poor atheists diminutive ignorant opinions are rivers of jealous slime

No more that the Christian theists spreading lies like the one discussed below. By making yourself better than other you are just making yourself into “greek demigods”

For Jesus said;....'I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me.'

See my reply to Archibald

There is no such thing as universal salvation, as much as we cannot earn our way into heaven.

It is by His grace that we are saved through our faith in Him. God could not have made it easier.

Only one of many interpretations… According to Bible we become children of God, when we accept Him, in order to become a son of daughter of God we have to receive teaching ( drinking” milk”) but also do what He did ( eating “meat”).

Let see what Archibald’s “hero” teached..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_M._Branham#Serpent.27s_Seed

Branham taught that Eve and the serpent had sexual intercourse and Cain was born.[53] Consequently, every woman potentially carried the literal seed of the devil.[59] Cain's descendants were today masquerading as the educated and the scientists,[60] who were "a big religious bunch of illegitimate bastard children."[61] The serpent was the "missing link" between the chimpanzee and man, who was perhaps ten feet tall and looked just like a man.[62]

Guess Mr. Branham forgot to read Genesis 4:1 and that heed in the warning of Deuteronomium 4:2 and Revelations 22 ( last part said tongue in cheek)

Another factor he ignoring the “fact” of Noah and his wife being mentioned in the genealogy of Seth and Cain respectively and then the first verse of Chapter 6 giving away what happened…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_M._Branham#Misogynism

Misogynism

Branham was very critical of the immorality of modern women.[64] He taught that a woman with short hair was breaking the commandments of God and ridiculed women's desire to artificially beautify themselves with make-up. Branham believed that scantily clad women were guilty of committing adultery because their appearance motivated men to lust. A woman's place was in the kitchen.[65]

Branham also taught that women were not a "created product of God". Rather she was merely a byproduct of man. His pronouncements with respect to women were often contradictory. He once told women who wore shorts not to call themselves Christians. But he qualified his denunciations by affirming that obedience to his moral code was not a requirement for salvation. However, he also implied that no woman that disobeyed his "Thus Saith the Lord" moral code would be part of the rapture.[59]

Branham's attitude towards women was decidedly misogynistic, covering physical appearance, sexual drive and marital relations.[66] Modern women were basically immoral sexual machines who were to blame for adultery, divorce and death. They were the tools of the Devil.[63]””

So many false teachings by one man… I have no words of praise for such a human being… I am sure he had many issues with women, and to break them down is a form of control. What commandment God had about short hair only he would know. It is funny that a man also “artificially beautify themselves” by having a woman at the side. On his issue about “cantily clad women” was most properly because he like other men could not control their urges, and has nothing to do about women be dressed in a certain manner

On equality between man and woman, Mr. Branham ignored Gen 1, which states that indeed “equal”. His belief in the rapture is a sure sign that he didn’t know what 1 Thess 4:16,17 stated especially why parables was used to convey a simple truth about a familiar concept, since the addressed crowd in that book was newly converts leaving behind the greek mythology.

On his opinion of being a tool of the “devil, is it not amazing how most people believing in the “devil” are actually not doing what God “commands” of the Israelites… not to be idol worshippers and not to be lukewarm…
