I would like to say I called 10111 in July from Mamelodi I am happy to report that I waited for less than ten minutes and was happy with their job and although they might use force sometimes but they were considerate and understanding to my situation. I would like to thank them for the effort well done.

It is very sad to hear about this horrible response times from 10111, however I am part of a local community policing forum here in Durban(Bluff area) and I have had to phone and still have to phone the 10111 emergency line on numerous occasions. I would rate 9/10 times if I phone, I receive exceptional service from 10111. If I phone for something that was in progress the response time 9/10 times would be under 5mins, and if I had to report suspicious persons or a complaint that had already occured the average response time would be around 15-25mins. I do hope this helps.

I was in a car accident in May. My fiancé called 10111 and the police responded. The ambulance unfortunately took a little too long, but service was dispatched nonetheless.
