Sculpting diversions

Since I could comprehend I believed in one problem. South Africa likes to find ways to not move forward. We like to say we were the pioneers of a democratic country when we speak to others but when looking at our behavior you will quickly see that we are very immature about our progress.

20 years of finding new stuff to blame as to why we are unable to adapt and transform. The center of attention is now fully on the statue of Cecil John Rhodes with people commenting on whether or not the statue should be removed or stay. Once again there is a new diversion grabbing the attention of millions. Take the statue off! Take them all off.  Soon there will be nothing left to blame for our own failures except for ourselves and that will be the day that we will either except reality and actually transform or to our detriment, war!

We are all eye blinded by a bunch of not so smart asses! Removing statues is not solving any problems. The only solution is better role models. Individuals that stand for change and stand for something to believe in. People that can lead people in spite of their skin colour.

Another 20 years won’t fix the fact that we are immature and narrow minded. Just remove all statues now. Put them in a museum or destroy them. Let us then go and find something else to blame or to divert our progress towards a better life and country.

A Statue is hardly to blame for the failures of South Africa.

We live in a world where facts and fiction get blurred
