The community of Mokgolobotho village ward 17 in Greater Tzaneen Municipality, Mopani District in Limpopo Province has staged a legal protest march on the 08 October 2014 and demanded that the municipality respond within 14 working days which was suppose to be on the 24 October 2014 but to date the municipality has not responded nor called any of the community leaders about the matter.
The community have decided to go an ilegal protest demanding that the Premier of the Province Honourable Stanley Mathabata and the MEC for Local Government to come on the seen during the process to receive the memorandum. The community is still waiting for learners to finish their Exams. Some Iterms on the memorandum are: 1. Access to clean water. 2. Building of a High School and two primary school. 3. Re-gravelling of streets. 4. Tarring or Paving of main roads. Estabishment of SASSA paypoint. 5. Providing 24 hours health service. 6. Installation of apolo light. 7. Errection of Bus Stop shelters. 8.Construuction of low level bridges for learners and many more.
