So very disappointed...

Except it was all a sham. It appears now, that we bought it. Government authorised the Bid Committee to make payment(s) to ensure we cracked the nod. The only proviso was that the funds could not come directly from SA Treasury.

In time, Numbers 14 and 15 will be exposed, and we trust they will be barred from the game (and the mayoralty of PE) for life.

But I gets to wondering now... what about every AFCON in South Africa? What about CHAN? What about every youth competition? COSAFA Cup? Every time we stood in to host a tournament, when somebody else couldn't. Did we pay for those too?

Is anything sacred to the ANC and their deployed cadres? If they're prepared to pay bribes for some soccer, what's to stop them bribing well-placed IEC officials for elections? They already bribe the voters with food parcels and t-shirts.

Just so despondent today.
