On the 27 of April, let us not celebrate freedom but rather let’s mourn the victims of crime by marching to all centres of government across the country. Let us descend to the Union Buildings as united nation demanding that Jacob Zuma start caring for us the citizens, to the Parliament in Cape Town as one Rainbow Nation demanding law makers to take seriously our grievances, fear and pain, to the Bloemfontein Supreme Court of Appeal as nation committed to Justice and a belief in the rule of law, The Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg demanding that the constitution be enforced by urgencies tasked with the mandate.
Let us mourn the death of the lady of was shot in front of her two kids in Soweto, the death of Jayde Panayiotou who was slain in Uitenhage, the death of all innocent victims of crime in the townships, suburbs, in the rural areas, on our road, in our shopping centres, the farmers who feed us, the children who get raped by monsters that don’t deserve to be called human. Let us unite as one nation and get our government to start caring for us and to start protecting us.
We are a people who belong to this beautiful nation, there is no other home and let us defend and fortify it from evil monsters. Let us restore the pride of this land. There is no greater country on this earth. Let the citizen of this land stand and be counted for the sake of our kids and our future.
