Thabakhubedu road Now who do we blame?

This morning yet another accident happened where the Kwarrielaagte Road and the Thabakhubedu Road intersects. (Interconnect, meet, traverse, transact), when a Bakkie and a Golf collided and as a consequence passengers sustaining injuries. The road being within Ward 12, an ANC representative cllr, and which is part and parcel of the competency and responsibility of the Elias Motsoaledi Local Council, and then, through some obscure reason the contract for the construction of the road awarded to Councillor Lepota Tseke, and Executive Councillor to say the least!! At the intersection where the two roads join, it being very evident of the fact that the craftsmanship and quality of the work done in the construction of the link raises a lot of concern, and being so inferior that it actually contributes negatively to its users, and as a consequence accidents frequently happening. Despite of the fact that the Councillor has on many occasions been warned that the inferior construction of the road, is a main cause of the challenges that users of the road face on a daily basis, the respective councillor being totally laisses faire in his effort to do something to correct the situation or to take any remedial corrective action to put an end to this carnage that is happening, all due to the poor craftsmanship, incapacity and incapability of the contractor, that being Councillor Lepota Tseke himself, to have constructed the road where its quality should not have been sacrificed and greed for money superseded the quality of constructing the road. The question now being, seeing that the road is within the mandate of the Elias Motsoaledi Local Council, and then constructed by an Executive within its ambit – where do residents in the relevant community go to voice their concerns , as their concerns raised with both the Councillor and the Municipality al seemed to have been on death ears Has greed become so bad, that lives that may be at stake, is of no relevance? Each and every person, contractor and or Council have a mandated responsibility to first and foremost deliver on its mandate and when it then delivers it should be something where quality has not been sacrificed, yet this seems to be non-existent in the minds of those that are responsible for this endemic (Prevalent, rife, rampant, pervasive) situation which has proved to be a real problem.
