When the heart is darkened, not in the same light with God, it turn out to do foolish things. The heart is clouded by the deceptions of Satan, the Archenemy. The faculties of the individual are not right. For he cannot comprehend his lost position, then continue in their ignorance. This is same with idolatry in the form of imagine worship. But can it be that evolution can be of the same category?
God, the true and only eternal, sets the standards and reveals the foolishness of this heathen practice- image worship. In Isaiah 44 verse 10 asks; "Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?" It narrate on how a typical blacksmith with "tongs works one with coals" and makes it using hammers with energy for the process of making a god. With much challenge God says of such a craftsman who make their idols, " He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest...He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied...And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshipeth it , and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god..." verses 14, 16, 17. It is sad, that man can come so low, thus we see the effects of sin in men. Should have men like this individual portrayed accepted the only true God, they could've never went so low to insult their intelligence. Paganism is the enemy of truth. But is there another insult to human intelligence even today rather than this former one?
Thus the Bible continues speaking of such folly with a question: "..none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it : and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?...verse 19. God has made man in his image but sin has separated them from their maker, and in turn many have resorted to make images in worship made by themselves, denying the only true God, Jehovah. Let all earth keep silent before Him. Turn to God and be saved.
Yet Satan has introduced another lie for man, a lie which insult God and humanity as a whole. This lie, in the form of "Human Evolution", have become an enemy also of truth. Theres a video I saw by a professed "geek" of biology about this. Is quite amazing really that it presents man as "evolved" from a fish, then this fish for millions of years was evolving into something else till our modern people. Surely such is no better than they who worship trees turned to images- they all deceptions from Satan in different forms. Are we going to call that reasoning and scientific truth? A man coming from a fish? or maybe some of you have a different opinion rather than such a heresy? 1CORINTHIANS 1:19--" For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
