The R 6 million Zuma spent.

Zuma had to attend the United Nation Conference in New York, but had to make use of a chartered plane as his personal jet was once again being serviced.

This resulted in the taxpayer once again having to fork out R 6 million for a chartered Boeing 727 aircraft to keep him in a lap of luxury, on a plane that has a king size bed, and bathroom, fitted even with a bidet. (which I am sure he doesn’t even know what its use and purpose is)

One need to ask the question, why he didn’t make use of the national carrier, SAA, even having to fly first class to New York, which I am sure would not have cost R 6 million to fly him and his entourage there and back.

When making these ludicrous decisions neither the ‘ruling party nor any individual seem to really worry of how they are exploiting and misusing state and or taxpayers money, whereas the goal could have been achieved had the option of the national carrier been exercised.

I remember vividly not so long ago, that the Defence Force shadowed Zuma with two planes while he was travelling in his official jet to New York, due to the fact that his personal jet was at the time serviced, and the need to shadow him, was in case anything went wrong with his plane - Apparently at the time costing the taxpayers more than R 6 million for this superfluous exercise.

I wonder how Zuma would have stepped out of his plane, if something did go wrong in the air, over the ocean into any one of the two planes that were shadowing him at the time.

This is but a mere two occasions on which over R 12 million was spent for the benefit of an individual, whom could have used the national carrier, that everyone else have to use to get to their destinations, and at the end of the day, that R 12 million could have been spent on things that are vitally important and necessary to eradicate and uplift the community from their indigent state of survival in the most atrocious circumstances which they have to endure.

But then what does Zuma really care? For him her personal lap of luxury is a given, and stuff the society that he so diligently advocates he and his government intends to uplift, which never happens. The fact that people do not have water for more than 3 weeks is irrelevant and of no consequence to him, as long as his personal wants are being attended to, where the cost to do this is totally irrelevant.

For him it is only him, and no one else is going to tell him what to do, how and when. What a shameful embarrassing situation that we find to be in.
