The disappearance of Pallo Jordan

Pallo Jordan seems to have disappeared from pretty much everywhere, and although he has been proved a liar, some kudos must go to him for having had the courage to actually step down now that his lies have been exposed.

Now if the rest of the lying thieving lot would do the same, not only would the ranks of government be severely depleted, but maybe, just maybe, some of those who actually can do the job of leading would be able to do so.

It is universally known that politicians in general bear a very close resemblance to bananas – they’re not exactly straight and many are yellow. Yup quite right – means they’re cowards. Way too many have gone soft - and rotten.

So, in a strange way, Pallo Jordan should be commended. Now we just need the rest of the bunch to follow suit, and not only own up to the lies, many of which have in fact been exposed in the public domain, sometimes for years, but to follow his example and resign. Imagine that !!

Hey – we can dream, I’m just saying….

Why on earth should anyone be admired for being a liar, fraud and a charlatan? Do you think for one moment he would have stood down if he had not been exposed? How about he hands back his TAXPAYER supplied salary from all of these years of deceit?

No kudos due. He stepped down to spare himself being ridiculed and it becoming a bigger problem for him. Still a fraud even whilst trying to appear to be doing the 'honourable' thing.

I really don't understand. Why on earth should he in anyway be commended for stepping down? He shouldn't have lied in the first place. The fact that he wasn't fired, is the alarming thing here.

I agree with you Sue - he deserves some praise for stepping down. The only reason this is noteworthy and he is getting praise instead of being charged for his lies, is because it is so unusual. Any of the other cANCer hyenas would have just carried on telling bald-faced lies and would have to be dragged to court to force them out - all at taxpayers expense. So as much as I feel the Jordan deserves to be taken to task, I am also grateful that he has taken the route he has. Hopefully this will set a precedent for all the other cANCer criminals but I'm not holding my breathe. Phansi cANCer, phansi!!!

Would he have stepped down if he was not exposed?? I don't think so, so no kudos for him!!

From what has this cheat and liar "stepped down"? He remains an MP and I expect that he will remain so, once he sees that the fuss has died down. Right now he is simply hiding, as do all such people, like those drivers who crash their vehicles and run away from the scene! He at no time has admitted to this fraud and would never have been found out by those responsible in the ANC who have employed him and supported him, and who have condoned his fraud. Being liars and cheats themselves this is unlikely. A newspaper has revealed his deception. He is guilty of serious fraud and has benefitted materially from this fraud. He must be prosecuted.

Don't hold your breath..... One of the general attitudes out there is that "I did not fight in the struggle against apartheid back then, to be poor today". It's an entitlement thing, a feeling that they earned the right to live the good life, and that is why most guilty of fraud or corrupution in government will NEVER admit to it. And probably also don't feel bad about it either.
