Think twice before stopping for the police

There has lately been a number of people who have become victims to robberies committed  by men dressed in police uniform and driving a police van.

I write this story to warn all South African's to think twice before stopping for a police van. A week ago in the early hours of Friday morning, a family of three were driving to the OR Tambo airport. The family was stopped by a police van, and the men dressed in police uniforms robbed the family at gun-point, of their laptops, money and cell-phones.

It is unknown whether it is the Police committing these robberies, or a group of men who stole a police van and police uniforms.

If the members of the public do find themselves being stopped by the police, it is advised to only do so when in a very busy space, or else signal to meet at the nearest public busiest location.

Stay vigilant, stay safe!
