Were Kids Possessed by the Devil at Knysna School?

Were 2 students possessed by the devil at Concordia High School in Knysna? Was the school's teen stabbing the work of the devil too... or Amakhubalo spirits who've been blamed for other disturbances across South Africa?

It's a topic that's had residents of the northern communities abuzz. In central town, yesterday, a waitress insisted that the two students couldn't move from their chairs and were speaking in strange tongues. Although that was second-hand info, she was adamant. I mentioned that there are christians who spoke in tongues too but my tongue fell on deaf ears.

What is fact, as reported by the Knysna-Plett Herald, is that, Prophet Siyanda Njoloza of the Kingdom Life Apostolic Ministries was called to the school by staff. And the staff were barred from speaking to the media.

Did the school make the right decision?

Are these instances of crime, attention seeking, drugs, mass hysteria, the psychologically disturbed... or possession at the hand of satan?

//... or possession at the hand of satan?// Just more superstitious fear mongering and delusional drivel - I wonder how much Prophet Siyanda Njoloza of the Kingdom Life Apostolic Ministries got paid for his services or what those services even were?

Xtians posting their "thoughts" are about as delightful as asking a Texan beauty queen about american foreign policy. It gets us nowhere except stupid.

And the ostriches speak from their rear ends, as their heads remain firmly stuck in the sand!

If this were not so very sad, it would be funny... Possessed by the devil? How very sad (and a tad frightening) that people can actually believe this type of nonsense in this day and age. As for the school - if they brought in a "prophet" to offer some comfort or reassurance that the "devil" has not suddenly decided that a school in Knysna is a "must-have" on his list of "let me see who I can burn", then great. I sincerely hope, however, that the school ALSO brought in some trained psychiatrists... Perhaps the trained psychiatrists can start working on the one who decided to bring in the "prophet"?

Really Devil possession? Why not the tokoloshe or a leprechaun? The stupidity just astounds me.

> Were Kids Possessed by the Devil at Knysna School? No they were possessed by Dighaa. Dighaa is much worse than the devil. He is outside time and space and the original creator of god and allah. As such he is even outside god and allah's time an space.

Satan is not capable of this level of evil - it sounds to me like they are god-possessed.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled,is convincing the world he does not exist. It is interesting to note the type of personalities that are adamant that there is no such thing as the devil, there is plenty evidence of these on each and every article that contains any reference to religion. No wander Jesus said: "you will recognize my people by their fruit" You concluded your post by asking whether or not it is demon possession - my understanding is that any tendency that is not of the nature of Christ, is exactly that, only the good in people, given by God, is usually enough to prevent the demons from manifesting in a person. To atheists about to unleash a whole heap of vitriol, go right ahead, you have no spiritual understanding, and therefore nothing that qualifies you to actually answer the question asked by Mike. Even most churches stay clear of actively taking on satan and his minions, because as soon as one actively takes part in spiritual warfare, one comes under direct attack from the prince of darkness, and he has a lot of weapons at his disposal, even members of the church! Jesus has already overcome the devil, so his is a lost battle, but since the stage has already been set by the word of God, Satan has no choice but to keep destroying until his time is truly up. Praise God! The blood of Jesus cleanses all, and if you resist Satan, first in your thoughts, then in your words and finally in your actions, he has no choice but to flee!
